MY VERY FIRST TAG... THANKS CARLY

Well, as lame as it sounds it is true, this is my very first tag. So here I go!

6 Things Tag
1. Post the rules on your blog.
2. List 6 random things about yourself.
3. Tag 6 people at the end of your post.
4. Let each person know the have been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.

1. I am quite a clean freak, I think I get that from my Dad! Clutter bugs the crap out of me. I am totally OK with throwing thing out, or sending things to D.I. if I know I will never use it again. Of course, my husband is the total opposite. He still has T-shirts from high school, and little nick-knacks here and there that he just can't seem to part with. And claims that he might one day need it, yeah right! So, sometime when I happen to be cleaning things out and I find something of his that I think needs to go... I retire it for him!!!

2. I got my first cavity when I was 22 years old. Of course, I wish I could say I've never had a cavity, but I think it's pretty unique to go 22 years without a single cavity.

3. According to my family, I am a BIG stresser! Which I am... I can stress over the smallest things, and I know for sure I get that from my Dad too! My Mom tells me all the time. One day, I'll be able to prefect the art of optimism, and live a stress free life... one day.

4. I am a very big family person. I have to most fun when I'm just hanging out with my family or my family-in-laws. We have the best families ever! And I enjoy all the fun time we spend together. My family, and Kyle's family are literally our best friends. I have to say that I am very blessed!

5. A funny story, when I was in High School I played basketball for our school team. And in an attempted to save the ball from going out of bounds, I ran straight into the wall totally missing the padding. I blacked out, but I was fine, I just walk away with a nearly broken wrist.

6. One day if not in this life, for sure in the life to come when we are perfected, I am going to be a professional photographer, a baker/chef, a knitter, a quilter, a creative scrapbooker, a
hairdresser, a make-up artist, and a guitarist. My list can go on, but this is just a few things I want to be when I grow up!

I Tag Sherrelle, Heather, Laura, Erin, Krista and Vania... Get on it girls!!!!

WEEKEND WITH THE BLOODS

This past Saturday we went up to Hiko, Nevada. If you don't know where Hiko is, it is just outside of Alamo, Nevada, and if you don't know where Alamo is... get a map! I had no clue until the first time we went. Anyways, we went to visit with our family and eat some delicious dutch oven chicken and potatoes. Kyle's parents are building a house up there and spend every weekend working on their beautiful home, and land. Kyle's oldest brother Mathias and his family, Christy, Hunter, and Haylee came down from Pioche, and it was so good so see and visit with them as we don't get to see them very often. Also the newlyweds, Chelsee and Billy made it up as well. Unfortunately, not all the family was able to be there, we definitely missed Sherrelle, RJ, and Colton, as well as Nathaniel and the boys, Noah and Weston. But we still managed and had fun. We rode around on Mathias' 4-wheeler, ate some good grub, visited and talked story, and finished with the kids having a bath in Grandma, and Grandpa's jet tub. It was so nice to get away from the city for a few hours, and enjoys some fresh air. Thanks Mom and Dad for a delicious dinner and a good time. We really enjoyed ourselves! Here are some pictures of our little trip...

HERE THEY ARE!!!

Today we got 2 black Labrador Retrievers. Thanks to Mathias and Christy, we are all so excited! And thank you Chelsee and Billy for picking them up for us. We official have a full house, the Bloods, the Blocks, Mom, and our cute little puppies! We got a boy and a girl, named Rugby, and
Maile (My-lay)... Tayvion, and Kaiden seem to like them, but Símone is not taking it well, she is acting like they are attacking her every time they come near. I'm sure it will take her time and then she won't be able to get enough of them... just like her Dad!

8 MONTHS

Símone turned 8 months this weekend. Yeah, I can't believe it! It still feels like yesterday we were coming home from the hospital. And I can't believe that we will be celebrating her first birthday in a few more months. I just know these next four months are going to fly right by me, and I'm not going to know where the time has gone. Simone is growing fast. She is 27 inches long, and about 20lbs, as of her last doctors appt. She's an expert crawler now, and has been pulling herself up on the furniture for a little over a month now! Christmas night she learned how to pull herself up on her crib, which mommy hates because she likes to bite on the railing!

She loves to smile, and Auntie Chanele taught her how to dance. So now while mommy is cleaning house, and listening to the Twilight soundtrack (my new favorite CD), she will start dancing by banging her head like a rock star. She has her two razor sharp bottom teeth. She love to eat, she gets so angry if you are eating something, and you're not sharing! So whether its good or bad, we have been sharing most our food with her. She loves bread, chicken and rice, and we sneaked in a few bites of ice cream, and fruit snacks here and there, and of course she loved it all! We are trying to teach her sign language, like "more", and "all-done", when she's eating. She hasn't got any of them done yet, but it will be soon. She love books. Mommy and Daddy read to her at nap times, and bedtime. It helps her calm down and fall asleep. We are having so much fun, watching her grow and learn. She is such a blessing in our lives.

First night Símone learned to stand up in her crib!

Peek-a-boo!

Símone love her bath time! Look at that crazy hair!

Yes Daddy dressed me! He thinks he's so funny. Pajama pants, t-shirt one size too small, and what is up with those socks and newborn hat. Come on.. Haha!

CATCHING UP: OUR 3rd WEDDING ANNIVERSARY!

So the New Year has start with out any interruptions. Kyle and I celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary on the 7th of January. I just have to say WOW! Where has the time gone. It has felt like a unstoppable whirlwind and now we are here. I remember the day so well. Waking up at the butt crack of dawn after a sleepless night, and an awesome friend of mine who did as great job on my hair and make-up. Mom, Dad, and I head to the Las Vegas Temple bright and early, our sealing was at 8:30 in the morning.

And after a beautiful ceremony, surrounded by family and friends who love us, we came out Husband and Wife for all eternity! It was a beautiful, and sunny day, and for it being the beginning of January, the weather was beautiful. We had plenty of time for picture, and lunch with the family. Then that evening we gathered at the chapel for our reception. It was beautiful, and we all had so much fun. I couldn't have done it with out all our family and friend who help with everything. It truly was the best day of my life along side the birth of our daughter.

All I can say is that the Lord truly has blessed us and our family. We are indebted to him for the blessing he pours out to us daily. For the wonderful 3 years, that we were able to grow and sacrifice together. And then be blessed to be parents to a beautiful daughter. I could ask for more.

NEW YEAR'S EVE

So we spend New Year's Eve here at home with Mom, Chanele and her boys, as well as Azia and Allie. We had fun too! We pulled out our projector, and moved all the furniture around. And watched movies on the big screen! It was great, we had some of my mom's yummy pizza, again... with the all the fixings... we can never get enough! We watched The Women... Which I liked, by the way am I a little late realizing that the whole cast were women... EVERYONE... I'm Slow! We also watched Horton Hears a Who, and The Mummy 3, I can't remember the whole title.

When midnight came around we went outside to do some sparklers, and some other little firework for the kids (I really wouldn't call them firework, but I don't know what else to call them). Símone was out before we got to the fireworks, but thankfully Kyle got home for work in time for our sparklers show, the count down, and the sparkling cider toasts(I HATE sparkling cider). I don't know if anyone else agrees with me but the firework show this year downtown really STUNK... just my opinion. I hope everyone else had a fun and safe New Year's. Here's some pictures of our firework show.

Tayvion: He loved the sparklers!

Woo-Hoo! Happy New Year!

Yeah, you may think that was lame... but we had fun! And that's all that count!
