GOOD NEWS AND UPDATE ON SIMONE

I know it has been quite a while since I've posted anything. There really hasn't been much going on, except being a Mom to the most beautiful girl on earth. So I guess I'll start with the updates on Símone before I get to the Good News. Símone is learning so much I can't believe how fast she is growing. She will turn 1 in a little over a month, and I have no idea where all the time went. She ceases to amaze me, every week she learns something new. Here are some of the things Símone is up to now-a-days.

She loves to play peek-a-boo. She'll cover her eyes with her tiny fingers, but leave little cracks between her fingers so she can still see you. Love It!

She waves Hello, and says, "HAAA," like she is saying hi.
She folds her arms when we say prayers, and intently watches you as you pray. And in her own language she says "Amen," when the prayer is over.

She LOVES to climb. She can climb onto Grandma and Grandpa Blood's couch. She climbs on her little lawn chair, she'll actually push it over to a counter and then climbed on it to reach for things on the counter tops. Or like in this picture she climbed into the drawer. We just can't get enough!

She likes to play the Piano. Especially when Mommy's practicing.

She says "YAH," when you ask her questions she understands, like... Do you want to eat? "YAH". It's so cute!

She is walking like crazy. She's still really clumsy, but she just gets right back up and tries again.

She still loves food, She has a booster chair and she just lounges in it with her foot on the table. She sure is all about comfort!

Her top two teeth finally broke through, so she has a grand total of 4 teeth. Finally!

She has the biggest grin. Crunches up her nose, squints her eyes, and shows all of her 4 teeth.

I just had to post this picture... she is so beautiful!!!

I could go on forever, but I think thats good enough. Now for the Good News... drum roll please. Kyle and I will be expecting baby #2 in mid-October! We are totally thrilled, scared, excited and nervous all at the same time. We can't wait to have another little one added to our family. It will be great to have a buddy for Símone to hang with.

So far this pregnancy is going a lot better than my first. I had morning sickness for 3 weeks where I was actually up-chucking (excuse the details). And other than that it has been controllable nausea. I just feel like BLAH! Oh, and my taste buds are out of wack too. Other than that I can't complain too much. I'm finally in my 2nd trimester, so it's down hill for while. At least until I get too fat to move. Here are some of my first ultrasounds. She or He looks so cute already, even though her or his head is still a little alien looking.
